Over the past few months we have been working with Strategically Digital to develop a plan to increase our readership and reach by making use of the digital world. After developing a plan and setting some goals for the year, we began to slowly roll out our new communication channels by creating both Twitter and Facebook pages and developing a "digital shelf" on the Digital Publication library, Issuu.
Today, we re-launched HLNToledo.com. its biggest improvement and resource being that it is content drive--all of our articles are now available not just by searching through a PDF or our digital Issuu, but also through searching Google or by the click of a mouse by going to our homepage.
Our goal is to create as much buzz and interaction as we can with these new channels to reach as many potential readers as possible. HLN now has over 60,000 monthly readers of the print version, and we look to continue to provide our informative and enjoyable content to more and more individuals in search of improving their health and well-being.
