Serenity Farm seeking volunteers

Written by Healthy Living News. Posted in February

Serenity Farm Equestrian Center, located in Luckey, Ohio, is recruiting volunteers for spring/summer/fall programming schedules. Looking to meet new people? Love to learn new things and work on small teams? Serenity Farm offers all that and more.

Here’s what our current volunteers have to say about the experience:

“I actually took 2,000 steps in just one class assisting with a rider, bam Fitbit!”

“The hour class times go so fast assisting clients it was easy to take on an entire season with my busy schedule.”

“The amount of education available to volunteers is amazing! Thank you SF staff!”

Serenity Farm serves community members in four different programs:

  • Therapeutic Riding
  • Physical Therapy (Hippotherapy)
  • Mini therapy horse visits
  • Equine Assisted Learning

New volunteer orientations will be held on February 3 and March 3 at the farm office from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Registration is required to attend. Visit our Volunteer Page online at and start your journey with Serenity as together we reach goals for our clients, students, and visitors to the farm. Note: Interns are encouraged to apply.
